sorry, ik heb helaas geen tijd gehad om mijn Nederlandse site te updaten. Druk druk druk met afstuderen he. Maar mijn verhaal is natuurlijk wel te vinden op:

Yahooeee, I am at the podium!!! Saturday the wind was too light to do some freestyle, so the kitecross started. Kitecross is a discipline where 4 kiters at the same time have to kite a course with obstacles as fast as possible.
The wind was 10-12 knots, so I went out with my reactor 15 and the new 2007 switch 1.35. And I made it to both the finals (we had 2 eliminations). In the finals we were with six girls, so it was really hard not to get tangled. We had to run over the beach to the water, jump over an obstacle, round the buoy, jump over another obstacle and cross the finish. I had some good runs and became 2nd overall!
So sunday we had the price giving ceremony. Many people came by to get an autograph. The media exposure was huge again. Lots of cameras for the German and American television. I really enjoyed to be on the podium with flowers, champagne and all the rest.
